Members and roles
How to invite team members, assign roles, and manage permissions.
The Members page shows everyone on your team account. You can find it under Members in the sidebar.
Roles
Yeethook has two roles: Owner and Member.
| Permission | Owner | Member |
|---|---|---|
| Manage apps | Yes | Yes |
| Manage API keys | Yes | Yes |
| Manage Slack channels | Yes | Yes |
| Manage settings | Yes | Yes |
| Invite members | Yes | Yes |
| Manage billing | Yes | No |
| Manage roles | Yes | No |
| Remove members | Yes | No |
| Transfer ownership | Yes (primary owner only) | No |
The person who created the team account is the primary owner. Primary owners have full control, including the ability to transfer ownership to another member.
Inviting members
- Go to the Members page.
- Click Invite members.
- Enter one or more email addresses (up to 5 at a time) and select a role for each.
- Click Send invitations.
Invited members receive an email with a link to join your team. Invitations expire after a set period. You can renew or delete pending invitations from the Invitations table below the members list.
Managing invitations
The Invitations table shows all pending and expired invitations. For each invitation you can:
- Update role — change the assigned role before the person accepts.
- Renew — extend an expired invitation so the person can still join.
- Delete — remove the invitation entirely.
Changing a member's role
Open the actions menu (three dots) next to a member's name and click Update role. Select the new role and confirm. You can only assign roles at or below your own level.
Removing a member
Open the actions menu and click Remove member. The member loses access to the team account immediately. You cannot remove the primary owner or yourself.
Transferring ownership
Only the primary owner can transfer ownership. Open the actions menu next to another member's name and click Transfer ownership. You'll need to verify with a one-time code for security. After the transfer, the previous owner keeps their account but loses owner-level permissions.
Plan limits
Each plan has a maximum number of team members. If you've reached your limit, the Invite button shows your current count, limit, and plan name. Upgrade from the Billing page to add more.
