1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences and understand how you use it.
2. How We Use Cookies
Yeethook uses cookies for the following purposes:

3. Third-Party Cookies
Our payment provider (Stripe) may set cookies during the checkout process to prevent fraud. These are governed by Stripe's own cookie policy.
Featurebase
We use Featurebase for in-app support chat, feedback collection, and product updates. The Featurebase widget may store data in cookies or local storage to maintain your chat session and preferences.
Error Monitoring
We use Sentry for error monitoring and session replay. Sentry may store data in cookies or local storage to maintain session replay functionality and track errors across page navigations. Data is sent to Sentry's EU servers.
Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. Vercel Analytics does not set any cookies. Instead, it uses a server-side hash of the incoming request to identify visitors anonymously. This hash is automatically discarded after 24 hours.
We use PostHog for product analytics and error tracking. PostHog sets cookies to maintain your session identity and distinguish unique visitors. Analytics data is sent to PostHog's EU servers.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| ph_*_posthog | Stores anonymous distinct ID and session information for analytics | 1 year |
Google Ads
We use Google Ads for conversion tracking and ad campaign optimization. When you arrive at our site via a Google ad, Google may set cookies to measure whether you complete specific actions (such as signing up). This data helps us understand ad effectiveness and improve our campaigns. Google Ads cookies are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| _gcl_aw | Stores the Google click identifier (gclid) for conversion tracking | 90 days |
| _gcl_au | Used by Google AdSense to store and track conversions | 90 days |
| _gac_* | Contains campaign-related information for Google Ads | 90 days |
4. Geo-Based Cookie Consent
Our approach to cookie consent varies based on where you are located, in accordance with applicable privacy regulations:
- Regulated regions (EU/EEA, United Kingdom, Brazil, Canada, Switzerland): You will see a cookie consent banner on your first visit. Analytics and advertising cookies are not activated until you explicitly consent. You can change your preference at any time through the cookie banner or your browser settings.
- Other regions: Analytics and advertising cookies are enabled by default to provide a better experience. You can opt out at any time by clearing cookies through your browser settings.
We determine your approximate location using your IP address. This information is not stored; it is only used at the time of your visit to determine which consent experience to show.
5. Managing Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from using the Service.
Common browser cookie settings:
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies
- Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if we introduce new cookies or change how we use existing ones. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
