Managing your subscription
How to upgrade, downgrade, or switch billing intervals on your Yeethook subscription.
You can change your plan or billing interval at any time from the Billing page. Plan changes are handled through the Stripe Customer Portal.
Upgrading your plan
To upgrade (for example, from Team to Scale):
- Go to your team's Billing page at Settings → Billing.
- Select the higher plan you'd like to move to.
- Confirm the change in the Stripe Customer Portal.
Upgrades take effect immediately. You'll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period — you only pay the difference for the time left, not the full price of the new plan.
Downgrading your plan
To downgrade (for example, from Scale to Team):
- Go to your team's Billing page.
- Select the lower plan.
- Confirm the change in the Stripe Customer Portal.
Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep your current plan's limits until the period ends, then switch to the lower plan.
Before the downgrade takes effect, make sure your usage is within the new plan's limits. For example, if you're moving from Scale (20 apps) to Team (3 apps), you'll need to remove apps until you're at or below 3.
Switching billing intervals
To switch between monthly and yearly billing (or vice versa):
- Go to your team's Billing page.
- Select the same plan but with a different interval.
- Confirm the change in the Stripe Customer Portal.
The interval change applies at your next billing cycle. Yearly billing saves approximately 20% compared to monthly.
How proration works
When you upgrade mid-cycle, Stripe calculates the unused time on your current plan and credits it toward the new plan. You're only charged the difference. For details on how Stripe handles proration, see Stripe's proration guide.
When you downgrade, there is no immediate refund — your current plan stays active until the end of the billing period, and the lower price takes effect at renewal.
