Usage and limits

How to track your resource usage and what happens when you reach your plan limits.

The Usage page shows how much of your plan you're using. You can find it under Settings in the sidebar, next to Billing.

What the Usage page shows

Four cards, one for each resource your plan limits:

ResourceWhat it counts
AppsApple apps connected to your account.
Slack channelsSlack webhook destinations configured.
Team membersPeople on your team account.
EventsWebhook events received this billing period (or calendar month on the Free plan).

Each card shows your current count, your plan limit, and a progress bar. If your plan includes unlimited capacity for a resource, the card shows "Unlimited" instead of a number.

Status indicators

Cards change appearance as you approach your limit:

  • Healthy — you're well within your limit.
  • Warning — you've used 80% or more of your limit.
  • At limit — you've hit the exact limit. No more can be added.
  • Over limit — you're above your limit (can happen if you downgraded).

When any resource is over its limit, a red alert appears at the top of the page listing what's over and linking to the relevant management pages.

What happens at the limit

Apps, channels, and members — you can't add new ones once you hit the limit. The Add button is disabled and shows your current count and plan limit. Existing resources continue to work.

Events — events beyond your monthly limit are dropped. They are not logged in the event log and not delivered to Slack. Yeethook counts how many events were rate-limited so you can see the impact on the Usage page. Apple still receives a 200 response, so it won't retry.

Upgrading

Each card with a warning or at-limit status includes a link to the Billing page. A general upgrade prompt also appears below the cards if your account isn't on the highest plan. Upgrading takes effect immediately and raises all limits to the new plan's levels.
